Larry T. Pretlow II invites Ward 8 ANC Candidates, Elected Officials and most importantly YOU to discuss the issues we face in the Ward 8 Community.
Before the November 2nd, 2010 General Election Day Let us all get better acquainted and pledge our commitment to being positive contributors in reshaping our community.
This is a Community Meeting. Any resident running for election to an ANC Seat may speak on why they are running and their plans, if elected. Attendees are not viewed as their supporters! This is a community meeting.
Residents may also voice their concerns and needs to be addressed by those seeking election and those in office. This is a positive meeting! Not a battleground.
We invite elected officials to attend and give their input on the issues we face (Public Safety, Education, Health, Economic Development, etc.) and what's being done to resolve them; also what do they need us to do as a community to help in these efforts.
Please come and make a difference! Feel free to contact us!
Thank you,
DaMar A. Jackson
