[PR] Suspect Sought in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: 800 b/o Barnaby Street, SE

 Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Thursday, January 16, 2020, in the 800 block of Barnaby Street, Southeast. 

 At approximately 12:25 pm, members of the Seventh District heard the sounds of gunshots and responded to the listed location.  Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

 The suspect was captured by a surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos below:
