[PR] Martha's Table COVID-19 Response

0.jpeg

Dear Neighbors,

We cannot thank you enough for trusting in Martha’s Table during this unprecedented challenge. Please know that, as always, we remain deeply committed to protecting the health, safety, and well being of our community. While Martha’s Table will remain open, to do our part in helping to contain and mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in our city, our daily operations will change over the next three weeks:

From Tuesday, March 17 through Friday, April 3, our education centers at The Commons in Southeast D.C. and The Maycroft in Northwest D.C. will be closed. All fitness programming and events will be suspended.

While Joyful Food Markets will be discontinued at elementary schools due to their closure, we will partner with DCPS and DCPCS to ensure bags of groceries are available at designated food access sites.

  • We will continue to offer bagged groceries for neighbors at The Commons and The Maycroft.

  • We will continue to serve pre-packaged meals through McKenna’s Wagon.

  • We will continue to offer access to essential resources through Martha’s Outfitters.

It is exactly in times like these that our city needs leaders like Martha’s Tableto stand up and do what is right to support our neighbors. We are proud to stand alongside all of you in this effort and appreciate you helping us to spread the word about our available services.

We recognize that many of you will have further questions about our response to COVID-19. Please don’t hesitate to contact us at 202-328-6608 for additional information.

Sincerely,

Kim R. Ford
