[PR] Arrest Made in an Armed Robbery of an Establishment (Gun) and Burglary Two Offenses in the Seventh District

The Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Armed Robbery of an Establishment (Gun) and Burglary Two offenses that occurred in the Seventh District. 

  • Burglary Two of an Establishment: On Monday, May 25, 2020, at approximately 5:53 am, the suspect forcibly entered an establishment in the 3000 block of Naylor Road, Southeast. The suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 20-077-121

  • Burglary Two of an Establishment: On Saturday, May 30, 2020, at approximately 5:19 am, the suspects forcibly entered an establishment in the 3000 block of Naylor Road, Southeast. The suspects took property then fled the scene. This case remains under investigation. CCN: 20-079-757

  • Armed Robbery of an Establishment (Gun): On Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at approximately 9:03 pm, the suspect entered an establishment in the 3000 block of Naylor Road, Southeast. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded US currency from the register. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene. CCN: 20-085-758

On Wednesday, June 17, 2020, 25 year-old Derrick Gilmore, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery of an Establishment (Gun) and two counts of Burglary Two of an Establishment.
