Martha's Table seeks Executive Assistant to the President and CEO

Position Summary: This position provides administrative and clerical support to the President/CEO with extensive internal and external communication.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Strong administrative skills are required.

  • Manages calendar of the President and CEO.

  • Manages incoming and outgoing correspondence for the CEO, includes drafting letters and responding to phone calls.

  • Coordinates and provides support to the senior management team.

  • Acts as a liaison with potential donors and with other departments and outside agencies as necessary.

  • Completes critical aspects of deliverables and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining cooperation of others; monitoring progress; problem solving; making adjustments to schedule.

  • Record and edit meeting minutes.

  • Maintains electronic and hard-copy filing systems for the CEO’s office. 

  • Manages external contacts; proactively understanding who they are and keeping track of periodic communication needed for primary contacts.

  • Manage front line communication with complex array of donors, board members and staff.
