Lupus Research Alliance seeks PT Project Coordinator, Patient Engagement - $20/hour
Responsibilities
Supports Manager, Patient Engagement with coordination and management of patient engagement programs and activities. Programs include Patient Advocates for Lupus Studies (PALS), a peer support and education program focused on lupus clinical trial education, organizing and conducting Patient Advisory Boards for pharmaceutical companies, and other patient engagement initiatives. Responsibilities include data management, survey development, screening potential participants for activities, assisting with meeting logistics, and other administrative duties as defined.
Qualifications
Education: Associates (At least 2 years of university education) Bachelor’s preferred.
Skills: Microsoft Office proficient, with an emphasis on Excel. Knowledge of Access is a plus. Individual should be comfortable with online Survey tools, such as Survey Monkey and querying survey results. Individual must be compassionate, empathetic, and comfortable speaking to individuals with a chronic disease and from a wide variety of backgrounds. The candidate should respect individuals from different cultures and backgrounds and have an interest in and understanding of the social determinants of health and health disparities. The ideal candidate will have an interest in a relevant field such as public health, sociology, or healthcare and be pursuing a related master’s degree.
Willing to work 15-20 hours per week.
