Human Resources and Administration Internship - $14/hour

People For the American Way (PFAW) is a nationwide advocacy organization that mobilizes its members and activists to fight for public policies that reflect the values of freedom, fairness, and equal opportunity; to champion constitutional protections and civil rights.

PFAW’s Human Resources Department focuses on performing administrative and recruitment tasks. The department actively recruits, screens, interviews and hires qualified candidates for open positions in the company. They perform tasks that deal with office logistics and develop training programs for new hires and existing employees. Among other things, they handle accurate and timely compensation and payroll, employee benefits, and employee relations in order to maintain fairness and promote communication within the organization.

This is a paid internship that reports to the Director of Human Resources and Inclusion and is located in Washington, DC. The internship begins on September 24, 2019 and runs until December 6, 2019.
