Location:Humane Rescue Alliance Training Center | 15 Oglethorpe Street NW
Apartment living can pose challenges for our dogs due to tight quarters and constant exposure to other unfamiliar people and dogs. This can be difficult for dog owners and non-dog owners alike, who may have a different set of expectations for what that cohabitation should look like. This seminar will help to set you up for success in selecting the right dog, everyday living situations, and what to do if you find yourself in the middle of a conflict with one of your neighbors.
Topics covered include:
What to consider when adopting a dog for apartment living
Understanding dog behavior for an apartment setting
Setting your dog up for success in your apartment community
Apartment etiquette: behaviors to help you and your dog to be courteous neighbors
What to do when conflict happens
