These positions are located within the Department of Human Services, (DHS); Economic Security Administration (ESA), Division of Customer Workforce Employment & Training (DCWET). The Division of Customer Workforce Employment and Training (DCWET) was designed to offer Customers under the TANF Employment and Education Program (TEP) and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment & Training (SNAP E & T) the education, employment, and multigenerational supports needed to achieve family stabilization and economic self-sufficiency. Fundamental to its purpose, DCWET partners with Customers, TEP Service Providers, community partners, city agencies and other stakeholders to ensure that Customers and their families over time acquire the resources, skills and sustained behavioral changes necessary to attain and preserve their economic independence. This job announcement may be used to fill several vacancies in multiple divisions and locations throughout the Department of Human Services.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidates will have a thorough working knowledge of the public benefits administered by DHS/ESA, and the work requirements associated with its (ESA) employment programs.  The incumbents will serve as serves ass Program Analyst for the TANF program with duties to include but not limited to contract and program monitoring and creating, scheduling, administering, and evaluating various training courses and training internal DHS staff and community stakeholders. The incumbents will have the skills and experience designing and conducting complex analytical and financial audits and studies. The incumbents will have experience gathering and organizing information from a variety of sources such as records, computer files, previous studies, and interviews, to analyze information to identify issues and isolate problems, while developing solutions and measurements of productivity and effectiveness for use by others. The incumbent generates detailed briefings and reports of findings with recommendations to managers, etc.  The incumbents shall be able to stay abreast of policy changes to appropriate programs, be able to research best practices in human service delivery and adjust training materials and to apply knowledge of the policies and procedure to audits conducted.
