A Wider Circle seeks Program Manager, Youth & Young Adult Opportunities
A Wider Circle is seeking a Program Manager of Youth & Young Adult Opportunities as part of its team implementing the Families First DC Initiative, an innovative, place-based multi-year program for preventative, upstream, and community-driven services to support families and communities to thrive. This position will link young adults age 15-25 to programs, services, mentoring, and partners as well as manage a portfolio of youth clients receiving services under the Initiative.
The individual will work in A Wider Circle’s Neighborhood Partnerships site located in SE Washington DC in the Washington Highlands community which will house both the Families First DC Initiative as well as other A Wider Circle programs and services. At this site we will support individuals, families, and communities to access and utilize services through on-site activities and via community partners.
The Program Manager will be a key member of the Families First DC Initiative team as well as in our organization and in the movement to end poverty. The individual should have experience in outreach and engagement to youth ages 15-25, development of enrichment programming leading to youth involvement, connectivity to an array of youth programs and opportunities across the community, Ward 8, or DC, as well as an ability to work independently and deliver classes and workshops to youth.
