Jan 17 | Training Grounds 10th Anniversary Celebration at THEARC
Training Ground is approaching a decade of service! Over the past ten years, they have impacted the lives of more than five thousand individuals through initiatives including:
-The Safe Haven Centers, provising refuge, resources and life-saving assistance to a countless number of residents.
-Through the Training Grounds Career Exploratory Initiative, a program exposing hundreds of middle, high school and post-secondary students to an assortment of career options and opportunities.
-Drop-In Centers and Basketball Leagues, which have createdsafe and constructive summer activities for neighborhood children and young adults.
-Training Grounds to Work (TG2Work), Training Ground's signature program - successfully training a viable workforce of over 1,000 candidates.
In celebration of these achievements, Training Grounds will host two commemorative events at THEARC:

Various corporate, political and community leaders coming together to party with a purpose in celebration of Training Ground's ten years of service to the community. Special guest performances, food, cash bar, award ceremony, and unveiling of the TG Vision Forward.
15th Annual Martin Luther King Award Celebration

This day will be filled with messages of love, inspiration and unity. Live music performances, dance, poetry, awards and a special tribute to Marion Barry!
