Williams says the upcoming Ward 8 Democrats election represents an opportunity to chart a new course for the organization, and she looks forward to serving on behalf of the entire Ward 8 Democrat family. "Two years ago, I ran for this office because I believed in the ideals of this great organization and when used effectively what it means for the residents of Ward 8. My commitment remains strong. My beliefs and principles remain the same - thoughtful leadership; integration of the entire Ward 8 family - young and old, Blacks and Whites, politicos and those otherwise; results, not rhetoric; and to carry out the business of the Ward 8 Democrats with the highest levels of respect and professionalism.
