DECEMBER AT THEARC
From THEARC newsletter:
THEARC had a successful community open house this past month
jointly celebrating the The State Department's office of Art in Embassies 50th
Anniversary and our own 7th Anniversary. Especially dedicated to the work of
renowned artist and dancer, Nick Cave, this event included live performances from students of The
Washington School of Ballet, Levine School of Music, Corcoran ArtReach program,
Washington Middle School for Girls and Boys & Girls Club at THEARC.
We would like to thank Art in
Embassies and William C. Smith + Company for their support, and Giant Foods for
their inkind donation. Their efforts and the participation of those in
attendance helped to make this a memorable celebration.
