The Peerless Creatives Experience will mix the retail
shopping of our one-of-a kind jewelry and accessories, with the visual performing
art of skateboarding. Organized by Shaymar Higgs of Peerless Creatives Design
Group and Jimmy Pelletier of DC Wheels, with partnerships from Made Beyond
Fresh, Skate Taggers, and Blind Dog Café, patrons will be able to experience
firsthand the creative process as well as purchase made to order screen-printed
t-shirts, hand-brewed artisanal coffee, fresh fruit sodas, and live painting.
At LUMEN8Anacostia we will debut our community outreach effort of one-for-one
skateboards. For every custom designed skateboard deck that a customer
purchase, a full skateboard will be donated to an Anacostia-area youth
skateboard enthusiast. Be sure to “roll” past to contribute your artistic
skills to our community art piece and to see what else our Artists and Designers
have put together exclusively for you in celebration of art in Anacostia.
