Parking Enforcement, You Have To Do Better

The Advoc8te is cramming one more task into her already super jammed packed "To Do" list...

Protesting erroneous DC parking tickets.

My luck must have just ran out. I've gone from 2 parking tickets in 5 years to 3 tickets in 3 weeks.

Public transportation has never looked so good.

The only thing more aggravating about getting these bogus (and boy are they bogus) parking tickets is collecting evidence for my case, protesting them online, and waiting six months for a (hopefully positive) finding.

So while I really appreciate the swift and courteous apology from DC Department of Transportation (and on Twitter no less!), and I know that mistakes happen to the best of us, I'm afraid that my patience (and meter allegedly) has just ran out.

So while I try my best to avoid getting "the boot" (sorry, couldn't help myself) hopefully someone from Parking Enforcement will take pity on me and void these tickets - ASAP - or at the very least, let me tool around town in one of their sweet rides. Bloggers might have cool screen names but lord knows we have crappy cars.  :)

CASE #2: "WHEN PAYING BY PHONE ISN'T REALLY PAYING BY PHONE"

The infraction: Failure to display multispace meter (translation: unpaid meter)

The defense: "Umm, who was that automated voice I just gave my credit card information to?"
