An angel, in the form of the Capital Area Food Bank, heard that Ward 8 Farmers Market planned to end the successful double dollars program.
They have provided the necessary funds to keep it going for the remainder of the season.
So, if you use EBT, SNAP, WIC or Senior vouchers to pay for your produce, we will continue to double the value and provide fresh seasonal food at half price.
