Join the Congress Heights Community Association,  Casey Trees and the National Park Service as we plant new oaks, crab-apples and cherry trees in our neighborhood park. We’ll be meeting neighbors, getting exercise outdoors, and improving the park for future generations.  

Shepherd Park is located at the corner of Malcolm X and Martin Luther KingAvenues SE, just off of 295 and close to Congress Heights Metro.

Gloves, bags, and a pizza lunch will be provided. Wear good shoes and clothes you can get dirty.
