Rant or Rave: Mellon Street Corner Store

On the corner of MLK Ave SE and Mellon Street SE stands a little corner store. We all know how I feel about the "mural" (rhymes with "slate") but I was wondering if anyone patronizes the store regularly and if so what has their experience been like? To be honest, with all the loitering, especially late at night, I have only ventured inside once (my desire for cranberry juice was that strong).
