WE ARE THE CHANGE THAT WE SEEK! List of ANC Candidate petitions filed!

The Advoc8te is super apologetic about being MIA on the blog as of late.  I have a BIG excuse.  :)

Anyhoo, I am back - for the moment - and boy do I have some good news - some VERY GOOD NEWS!

DCBOEE has posted their list of ANC Candidates who have filed their petitions and it is 17 pages long!  That is a whole lot of community service.

Go HERE to peep the list and see how the races for your ANC are shaping up. 

ANC 8C for the first time in a long time has someone running in every single ANC position and all of the current incumbents have challengers! Pardon me while I do the funky chicken *does funky chicken dance*.

If I could come through this computer screen I would post a big wet one on everyone who is running for an ANC position. It is absolutetly amazing to see all these people step up to help their communities.  Congrats to all of you for getting this far and getting involved.
