WANTED ASAP: Some interns with mad skills

The Advoc8te has had her little hands in lots of pots and as such I need some help maintaining all of this awesomeness :). I've been trying to find one super intern (or at least two average interns to combine into one super intern) with no luck so I decided to take my search to the blog in hopes of finding my very own Kenneth or Monica (sans beret).

For right now, I need someone awesome ASAP who has about 8 - 10 hours a week to spare.  If I can find more than one super intern the hourly commitment may not be so much. There is some flexibility with times although some daytime/weekend hours may be needed.

The work is clearly in Ward 8  and a Ward 8 resident would be a plus but is not mandatory (but is encouraged).  The key thing here is that I need someone who is really proactive, a go-getter, knows how to work a computer, has a dream, determination, a need to learn, wants some professional experience,  may want to blog, has some common sense, doesn't steal, can keep secrets, has some imagination, has an excellent sense of humor, understands the importance of pinky swears with thumb stamps,  wants to meet some really cool people, can at least google "Anacostia" and "Congress Heights", who may need a recommendation letter or some community service hours and can put up with random outburst of profanity without blushing too hard.

Is this a paid internship? It may be but these are the type of  internship(s) for someone who is looking more for than just a paycheck and if it works out the sky is the limit.

P.S. Would love to partner with a local school or organization but its not a requirement. If you live in Dupont Circle or Arlington or Capital Hill or go to Georgetown and you are looking for a PT (for now assume it's unpaid) internship feel free to connect.

Interested parties should send an email ASAP to advoc8te@congressheightsontherise.com.
