Good Hope: Anacostia
First - this video is AWESOME! I fell in love with it the moment I saw it and I was so very privileged to be asked to participate. Anacostia is such a wonderful neighborhood and I get so excited when people get to see that. Chris Keener and the kids from the Summer Youth Jobs Program were so great to work with and they were so professional! They made taping a joy. That said I kind of didn't want to post this video I am more than a little sick of seeing that dress. lol.
Enjoy, and if you had no idea what The Advoc8te looked like before please know that wasn't one of my most fabulous days (you try filming in 95 degree heat with no makeup artist) so please cut me some slack on the streets. It's hard out here for a blogger.
