Meet THEARC!

Officially opened in October 2005, The Town Hall Education Arts & Recreation Campus is a $27 million, 110,000 square foot, state-of-the art campus located in Washington, DC's Ward 8.

Ten cultural and social service agencies are based at THEARC, all of which share the goal of helping underserved children and adults reach their full potential.

In addition to the ten partner agencies based here, THEARC also features a 365-seat theater--the only theater east of the Anacostia River in Washington, DC--where children and adults alike can expand their horizons through drama, music and dance, and the Washington,DC community can come together for events, performances and town hall meetings.
