Oakwood St SE: STOP IN THE NAME OF PROGRESS!

Oakwood, Newcomb and Orange Streets have been abuzz with activity the past month. The police have increased their presence, DPW has been out cleaning up alleys and as of yesterday (at the request of Commissioner Jordan of 8C02) 3 NEW STOP SIGNS WERE INSTALLED!!!

The stop signs were placed at a busy intersection in the neighborhood.

Check out the new spiffy stop signs! Residents can request street signs either by calling 311 or by open a ticket at the Service Center located at www.dc.gov.
