The purpose of the CHOTR Community Connection is to provide Congress Heights residents and supporters a forum to share community information and to request assistance on community matters. The hope of the CHOTR Community Connection is to serve as an alternative to the DC Craigslist by providing a forum specific to our River East communities. Other River East Communities (Anacostia, Bellevue, Washington Highlands, etc) are welcome to post to this group. Membership is open to anyone and everyone is welcome to post.
Residents and individuals are welcome to advertise "private sale" or "help wanted" advertisements as long as those requests are in compliance with local laws.
Businesses wishing to place advertisements either on the "Congress Heights On The Rise" blog or on the "Community Connection" must FIRST send an email to CongressHeightsOnTheRise@gmail.com for details.
