The MVA Coordinator (Professional Development) is responsible for coordinating the professional development component of Mamatoto Village Academy for the perinatal health workforce, public health professionals, and healthcare institutions. Mamatoto Village Academy (MVA) focuses on advancing reproductive justice for Black women and birthing people through culturally resonant training, professional development, and technical assistance. MVA offers in-person, hybrid, and asynchronous courses integrating lecture, discussion, and interactive content across multidisciplinary topics designed to enhance clinicians' and non-clinicians' knowledge, skills, and expertise.
