As someone who reads and shares MPD's communications daily, it is refreshing to see increased efforts to keep the public informed and engaged. I hope these press conferences and the community listening sessions become standard as they pay dividends in community goodwill and support.

Regardless of what side of the river they occur, these shootings and homicides are unacceptable, period.
