April 11 | Petal Share needs volunteers for 'Petals To The People' event

Petal Share is hosting a HUGE flower sharing event on Sunday April 11th!! 

Help Us Rescue & Arrange Bouquets Or Come for A Contactless Pickup To Get Flowers For Your Seniors, Community Members,Local Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Shelters or Wherever Folks Could Use A Smile!! 🌺

We’ll need several volunteers in two locations in DC from 10 am -12pm and from 12 pm - 3pm in DC!

We also need drivers to deliver flowers throughout the city! 

Pollinator Team #1

10 am - 12pm 

Help us rescue thousands of flowers from a DC location and load trucks onsite. Volunteers will need to have no problem bending, moving & carrying items. Arrival time by 9:30 am. (Meridian House DC) 

Pollinator Team #2

12 pm - 3pm 

Join us at Culture Coffee Too for a socially distanced indoor/outdoor floral arranging activity! This team will begin work when Team #1 rolls up with the flowers! Bouquets will be arranged that will be shared with nursing homes, hospitals, shelters and communities throughout DC and the region! Arrival time 11:30 am.

Pollinator Team #3

Team 3 Pollinators are needed to drive the bouquets to various locations. These folks will start around 1pm and make as many deliveries to various locations (hospitals, nursing homes, senior centers, religious entities, non-profits, communities throughout the city). 

Bouquets will be picked up from Culture Coffee Too at 300 Riggs Rd, NE! 

Just pull up & pop your trunk for contactless pickup. Drop off assignments will be provided at the pickup. 🌺

If you want to deliver but don’t have a location in mind, still pull up. We’ll give you one!
