Urban Alliance seeks Program Coordinator $40k to $45k
This position reports to the DC External Partnerships Manager. The position is fully remote indefinitely. Upon Urban Alliance’s return to in-person work, the Suitland Program Coordinator will split time between the Urban Alliance office in Dupont Circle and Suitland High School.
Program Coordinator In School Responsibilities
School-based Student Support
· Facilitate engaging, interactive, professional development curriculum to Suitland High School students
· Plan program activities that align with program structure and further student development, such as field trips, college fairs, and community service events
· Apply best practices in youth development to adapt curriculum to meet the unique needs of each class
· Coordinate end of the year activity (student portfolio and mock interview process)
· Review and revise student resumes and cover letters
· Provide 1:1 assistance to students on professional development, college readiness and addressing school concerns (grades, transcripts, community services hours, etc.)
