👩🏽‍💻 The Advoc8te is aware that people have been requesting PUA redeterminations and backpay for nearly a year and these increased benefits still haven't been paid. There is clearly a problem with DOES not processing these past requests for redetermination but don’t give up! Make a request if you haven’t made one already. I need to search DOES’s website to find the minimum income that qualifies for the higher WBA but off the top of my head I think it’s $19,000 but I will find the actual number (I’ve shared it on CHotR in the past so you may want to do a search). If you have already applied for a weekly redetermination, my suggestion is to keep following up with DOES and include an email to your Councilmember.

Pandemic Unemployment Assistance claimants may request a reconsideration of monetary determination to establish a higher WBA by sending an email to: PUA@dc.gov.

The request must include documentary evidence of earned wages during the 2019 calendar year.
