If you haven’t noticed already, Congress Heights on the Rise has expanded the number of posts on our home page from 8 to 12! You can still access earlier blog posts by click the BLOG tab in the toolbar or the MORE POSTS button below the featured posts of the day.
Frankly, this expansion has been long overdue. There has been so much going on east of the river (events, jobs, programs, occasional tomfoolery, etc.) that I couldn’t cram it all in with just eight daily posts before the 12pm Daily Digest email.

10AM at the Anacostia Skate Pavillion, Cost $10. Riding your bike doesn’t have to be stressful. Join WAB for a morning of skills, confidence, and community building.
We’ll spend some time on a few specific bike handling skills, then go for a short ride and talk about strategies for riding in different road, bike lane, and trail situations. Bring questions! REGISTER HERE!

10AM at the Anacostia Playhouse. The Anacostia Playhouse seeks an ensemble of singers that move well and have acting experience. We are looking for performers that can blend and harmonize with others plus hold their own as a soloist. The piece is very ensemble in nature. This audition is only for singers. LEARN MORE.
