Sunday, Feb 14th is our annual social media campaign to spread love about Southeast DC (both sides of the Anacostia River).

Due to the pandemic, I decided not to host a community event this year. However, I invite everyone to share photos (past and present) on social media of the people/places/things that make Southeast so special to you. And don't forget to use #SoutheastLove in the post!

You don’t have to live in Southeast to participate, you just have to have a desire to spread love and awareness about this corner of the District. This is a great opportunity to honor and promote small businesses and nonprofits in SE that have gone “above and beyond” during this public health emergency.

And if you have some Southeast Love merchandise this is a great time to flex! 😂 I know I will be wearing my Southeast mask, shirt, and hoodie all at once! I can’t wait to see your photos.

Have a great day!
