Solar United Neighbors (SUN) is a national 501(c)3 nonprofit that started more than 15 years ago with a simple question: "Mom, can we go solar?" Since then, we've helped tens of thousands of people benefit from solar energy. We are dedicated to creating a clean, equitable, resilient energy system that benefits everyone - by helping people go solar, join together, and fight for their energy rights.
About the Position
The Organizing Director will be responsible for scaling SUN's grassroots organizing work in high priority states and federal campaigns. Working closely with SUN's Policy, Digital Communications, and Community Impact (volunteer engagement) teams, the Director will develop programs and platforms to engage our 1 million person mailing list and direct the implementation of campaigns that build and transform the power of solar supporters across the country. This position reports to the VP of Community Impact with close collaboration with the VP of Policy and Advocacy.

We provide full-time staff with a competitive total compensation package, including:
Salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 per year
