SMYAL seeks Director of Youth Housing - $70k to $75k
The Director of Youth Housing is a full-time position which manages our Transitional Housing (TH) and Extended Transitional Housing (ETH) programs. The TH programs supports up to 26 youth at our two transitional housing facilities , and up to 12 youth at our Extended Transitional Housing ETH facility. The locations include youth residences and Youth Housing offices. The Youth Housing Program is supported by: (1) At Youth House I - one Case Manager and one House Monitor, (2) At Youth House II - two Case Managers and four House Monitors, (3) At Youth House III (ETH) - two Case Managers and four House Monitors. This position requires strong leadership, administrative, and advanced housing policy knowledge. The Director of Youth Housing takes a leadership role in ensuring the overall administration, coordination, and service delivery of the program(s) is uninterrupted and of highest quality. The Director ensures the opportunity for all program participants to successfully complete the ‘three-tier progress plan,’ which is a program for youth to transition from experiencing homelessness to sustainable independence with the goal of securing appropriate stable permanent housing in the community. The Director regularly teams with the Executive Director and Director of Clinical Services on projects, program expansion, grant deliverables and management, and agency development.
