Rest In Peace Mr. Fox

I was heading to a meeting yesterday when I saw this little guy laying in the road. A local school was letting out and there were some kids gathering around, intrigued by getting to see a bit of Ward 8 wildlife up close and personal. After I confirmed this was indeed a fox and not a raccoon we said a little prayer for Mr. Fox and wished him happiness and many treats in heaven.

That’s what I love about Ward 8, from the smallest to the oldest, we have some of the most kind residents around.

Rest in peace Mr. Fox. I am wishing protection and happiness for your clan that I often see in my own Congress Heights neighborhood.
