REMOTE PAID INTERNSHIP | Communications Intern - $1,500-$2,000/month
Media Matters for America -- a progressive, Washington, D.C-based, nonprofit research and information center dedicated to comprehensively monitoring, analyzing, and correcting conservative misinformation in the U.S. media -- is seeking a Communications Intern for the fall/winter. The intern will provide support to Media Matters' Communications Department, which is responsible for the organization's media relations, communications, and external affairs strategies.
The internship runs from mid-September through mid-December, with some flexibility around start and end dates. The fall/winter internship program requires 24-32 hours per week and offers a stipend of $1,500-2,000 per month depending on hours worked.
The internship will be remote due to the continued COVID-19 public health crisis, with a strong preference for candidates working on Eastern Standard time.
