Project Create seeks Program Manager, Community Partnership Programs - $40k
Project Create provides accessible arts education to promote positive development in children, youth and families experiencing homelessness and poverty.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Program Manager, Community Partnership Programs (CPP) will provide program management and leadership; community outreach and student engagement; data collection and analysis; development and communications support; and general program administration and support to Project Create’s Director of Programs in carrying out the organization’s mission.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Management & Leadership (50%)
Implement and oversee multi-disciplinary, curriculum-based arts education programs that are consistent with Project Create’s mission, vision and values
Identify and implement arts enrichment activities and opportunities inside and outside of Project Create classes, including workshops and field trips to local arts institutions
Produce and promote regular exhibitions and performances of student work to engage audiences, promote student artists, and increase program visibility
Coordinate and supervise CPP program staff, including teaching artists, teaching assistants, volunteers and interns
Deliver high-quality programs according to established organizational outcomes and best practices for positive youth development.
Cultivate a positive learning environment that is youth-centered, culturally-competent and trauma-informed
