[PR] TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Movie Production and Filming

On Saturday, February 22, 2020, a movie production and filming will take place in the District of Columbia. In conjunction with this event, there will be several street closures that motorists should take into consideration.
On Saturday, February 22, 2020, motorists can expect intermittent traffic control and parking restrictions between 8:00 am to 6:00 pm at the following locations:
Pennsylvania Avenue between 14th Street, NW & 3rd Street, NW
Independence Avenue between 14th Street, SW & 7th Street, SW
Constitution Avenue between 7th Street, NW & 3rd Street, NW
12th Street between Constitution Avenue, NW & Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
3rd and 4th Street, NW/SW, between Pennsylvania Avenue, NW & Independence Avenue, SW
The public should expect parking restrictions and should be guided by the posted emergency no parking signage. All vehicles that are parked in violation of the emergency no parking signs will be ticketed and towed.
Motorists could encounter possible delays if operating in the vicinity of this event and may wish to consider alternative routes. The Metropolitan Police Department and the D.C. Department of Transportation also wishes to remind motorists in the vicinity of this event to proceed with caution as increased pedestrian traffic can be anticipated.
