[PR] Suspect Sought in a Homicide: 1600 b/o Rosedale Street, NE

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred, in the 1600 block of Rosedale Street, Northeast, on Wednesday, October 9, 2019.
At approximately 9:47 pm, members of the Fifth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located two unconscious adult male victims inside of a residence, suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and found that the victims displayed no signs consistent with life. Both victims remained on the scene until transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
The decedents have been identified as 24 year-old Devon Miller, of Northeast, DC, and 27 year-old Lekelefac Fonge, of Lanham, MD.
The suspect has been identified as 27-year-old Davon Peyton, of Alexandria, VA. Peyton is currently wanted on a DC Superior Court Arrest Warrant for First Degree Murder While Armed in connection with this case. Peyton should be considered armed and dangerous and can be seen in the photos below:
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000, per victim, to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
