[PR] Suspect Sought in a Homicide: 1200 b/o Barnaby Terrace, SE

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to a homicide that occurred on Monday, March 9, 2020, at approximately 9:53 pm, in the 1200 block of Barnaby Terrace, Southeast.
Members of the Seventh District responded to the listed location for report of an unconscious male. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services found no signs consistent with life and the decedent remained on scene until being transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
The decedent has been identified as 41 year-old Alkhenala Al-Fatah, of Southeast, DC.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
