[PR] Second Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon Offense: 2400 b/oMartin Luther King Jr., Avenue, SE

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District have announced a second arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon offense that occurred on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, in the 2400 block of Martin Luther King Jr., Avenue, Southeast.
At approximately 1:24 pm, a group of suspects approached the victim at the listed location.. The suspects assaulted the victim with objects then fled the scene.
On Wednesday, February 5, 2020, an adult female, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
On Monday, February 10, 2020, pursuant to a DC Superior Court custody order, a 16 year-old juvenile male, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
This case remains under investigation.
