[PR] Coronavirus Data for July 8, 2020

(Washington, DC) – The District’s reported data for Wednesday, July 8, 2020 includes 37 new positive coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, bringing the District’s overall positive case total to 10,679.

The District reported four additional COVID-19 related deaths.

  • 58-year-old male

  • 69-year-old female

  • 70-year-old male

  • 71-year-old male

Tragically, 568 District residents have lost their lives due to COVID-19.

The District has experienced four days of sustained decrease in community spread of COVID-19 during Phase Two. That data is represented in the chart below.
