[PR] Arrest Made in Armed Robbery of an Establishment (Gun) and Armed Carjacking (Gun) Offenses in the Sixth District

From the Metropolitan Police Department's Sixth District announce an arrest has been made in reference to Armed Robbery of an Establishment (Gun) and Armed Carjacking (Gun) offenses that occurred in the Sixth District.
Armed Robbery of an Establishment (Gun): On Thursday, June 4, 2020, at approximately 4:42 pm, the suspect entered an establishment in the 4800 block of Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue, Northeast. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded US currency from the register. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene. CCN: 20-083-052
Armed Robbery of an Establishment (Gun): On Thursday, June 4, 2020, at approximately 11:05 pm, the suspect entered an establishment in the 4000 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded US currency from the register. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene. CCN: 20-083-197
Armed Carjacking (Gun): On Friday, June 5, 2020, at approximately 2:15 pm, the suspect approached the victim in the 4200 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded the keys to the victim’s vehicle. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene in the vehicle. CCN: 20-083-456
On Tuesday, June 16, 2020, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 35 year-old Joshua Jamison, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with two counts of Armed Robbery of an Establishment (Gun) and Armed Carjacking (Gun).
