[PR] Arrest Made in an Unarmed Bank Robbery Offense: 1300 b/o Good Hope Road, SE

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division and the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Unarmed Bank Robbery that occurred on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, in the 1300 block of Good Hope Road, Southeast.
At approximately 10:25 am, the suspects entered the bank at the listed location. Once inside, one of the suspects approached the teller and presented a note demanding US currency. The teller gave the suspect an undetermined amount of US currency. Both suspects then fled the scene.
On Wednesday, November 6, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 45 year-old Kenneth Sanders, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Bank Robbery.
