Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Pipe) offense that occurred on Monday, December 2, 2019, in the 3800 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast.  

At approximately 3:17 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a metal pipe and assaulted the victim then fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

On Monday, December 2, 2019, 30 year-old Allen Brown, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Pipe).
