[PR] Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 2700 b/o Martin Luther King Jr Avenue, SE

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, in the 2700 block of Martin Luther King Jr Avenue, Southeast. 

At approximately 7:55 pm, the suspect and victim were engaged in a verbal dispute at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.  

On Thursday, October 31, 2019, 53 year-old Stacy Harris Green, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
