[PR] Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 2400 b/o Alabama Avenue, SE

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Thursday, November 7, 2019, in the 2400 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast. 

At approximately 2:41 pm, the suspect and victim were engaged in a verbal dispute at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.  

On Thursday, November 7, 2019, 34 year-old Davon Wooten, of Southeast, DC,was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
