About The Job
Seeking a professional, meticulous Operations Assistant to support the operations of a local non-profit operating in the government contracting arena. Candidate will work closely with the management team and should possess strong communication skills to assist with the servicing of members.
Responsibilities of an Operations Assistant:
Receiving phone calls and mail
Scheduling travel
Assisting with event planning
Assisting with expense reporting
Managing and office management and general administrative support
Assist in the writing or letters, emails and organization communications
Qualifications of an Operations Assistant:
Completed Bachelor's degree from a 4-year university or college
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Familiarity with the Government contracting arena, and specifically DoD (Department of Defense), a plus
Ability to work closely with executives
Professional and mature communication style
Excellent writing skills
