It's another day in another southern country-fried town . . but something's missing. All the Black residents have mysteriously disappeared! With unexpected holes left in the town's daily operations, a whirlwind of panic rushes through the town, moving the remaining residents to recognize how much their Black neighbors contribute to the town's vitality. A reverse minstrel show, Ward's 1965 script provides a comedic and pointed commentary on systemic racism that still bears relevance today.
