Tuesday, October 24 | 4 – 7pm
Middle and Secondary Teachers: Help students find their place in the environmental justice movement and create meaningful projects that have the potential to affect real change. During this workshop, we’ll address the different personality and activist skill types that create effective student teams, introduce you to several local activism case studies (featured in our exhibition To Live and Breathe: Women and Environmental Justice in Washington, D.C.), and provide specific steps necessary to create class activism projects.
