Oct 20 | NPS Virtual Meeting To Discuss Redesign Of Problematic Park in Congress Heights

The National Park Service is committed to activating and reinvesting in Parkland, a 1.25 acre section of the Shepherd Parkway located in Congress Heights. Please join us and our design consultant in refining plans for this neighborhood national park. Community input is critical at this phase. The re-design of the playground, selection and mix of recreational amenities, and future programming will be largely based on community input. As plans progress from design to construction, we invite your feedback on what you'd like to see Parkland become!

The NPS will host a live, virtual public meeting on October 20 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Join the meeting and view the live presentation. To connect to audio, use the meeting website link or dial,
